On your computer. Time spent on sites, sessions, tasks and streaks are written to storage inside your browser and never uploaded to us. Uninstall the extension and that history goes with it. An account only holds your email, subscription status and — if you switch sync on — your settings. The full picture is in the Privacy Policy.
No. Every mode works without signing in: blocking, focus, pomodoro, zen, sleep, eye exercises, tasks, dark mode and screen time tracking all run locally. An account is only for PRO and for syncing settings between browsers.
All six music genres and the full sound library, advanced breathing techniques and eye exercises, every Shift archetype, a pomodoro rhythm of your own instead of the classic 25 / 5 / 15, dark mode scheduling and optional sync.
Payments run through Lemon Squeezy. Open the receipt email you got after the purchase and use the customer portal link inside it — there you can cancel or change your card. Cancelling stops the next charge; PRO stays active until the paid period ends. Within 14 days of buying, write to us instead and we refund in full.
Chrome shows one blanket warning for all of them, so here is what each is actually for:
Access to websites — to draw the mode screen over a page, apply the dark
theme and block distracting sites. Page content is never read or sent anywhere.
Tabs — to know which site is in front, so screen time is counted per site.
Notifications and alarms — reminders for breaks, eye exercises and the end of
a pomodoro round.
Storage — to keep your history and settings on your machine.
Local history: open the extension, go to statistics and reset it there — or just remove the extension from Chrome, which takes everything with it. Account data: write to us from the address you registered with and we delete the account and everything tied to it.
Reload the tab first: a page that was already open when you installed the extension has no
connection to it yet. If that doesn’t help, check the extension is enabled at
chrome://extensions and that the site isn’t on your allow list. Still stuck —
send us the site address, your Chrome version and a screenshot; it saves a round trip of
questions.
Both go to [email protected], or use the form below. Feature requests are read, not filed away — several modes exist because someone asked.
A person reads every message and answers to the address you leave — usually the same day. No account needed.
