Pomodoro

A pomodoro timer that closes the tabs as well

Twenty-five minutes of work, five off, a long break after the fourth — and while the work interval runs, the sites you named stay shut.

Everything you meant to do
…and the tab that ate the hour

This site is blocked

You asked to keep this one closed until 18:00.

25:00

Focus session

Distracting sites stay shut while the timer runs.

Counted on your device

Nothing about this visit left your browser.

Time to wind down

Breathe with the circle until the screen lets go.

Rain over the page

Ambient sound, nothing blocked.

Look 20 feet away

Twenty seconds. Your eyes have been at this screen for two hours.

Three things today

Written this morning, still waiting.

Today you are the Learner

Every tab is a vote for who you are becoming.

Dark, without the mess

Images keep their colours. Already-dark sites are left alone.

25 on, 5 off

The rhythm runs itself; you stop watching the clock.

Warm after sunset

The page warms up in the evening instead of glowing at you.

Two minutes

In, hold, out — follow the circle and go back to work.

click the toggle — this is the real interface, not a screenshot

A timer alone only measures how long you were distracted. The tab that ate the interval is still one click away, and the counter keeps ticking politely.

How it works

The rhythm runs itself

Phases change on their own; you are not the one watching the clock.

01

Start the interval

Twenty-five minutes by default, or your own numbers. The work phase is a real focus session, not just a countdown.

02

The break comes on its own

Five minutes, and the fourth one turns into a long break. The switch is made in one place, so ten open tabs cannot each move the cycle.

03

The evening adds up

Completed intervals go into your statistics, on your device.

What you get

What it does that a timer does not

Blocking during work

The sites you listed are shut while the interval runs and open again on the break.

free
Your own intervals

25/5 is the default; 50/10 and 90/20 are a field away.

Long break after four

The classic rhythm, counted for you.

Common cases

What people use the cycle for

Work that has been put off for a week

Twenty-five minutes is short enough to agree to, which is the whole trick.

Studying with a break you actually take

The break starts on its own instead of turning into another hour.

Writing in the evening

Four intervals and a long break fit an evening without any planning.

Distracting sites during the interval

They are closed while it runs, and available on the break — the difference between a timer and a cycle.

Longer stretches

50/10 or 90/20 for work that needs a run-up.

Seeing where the day went

Completed intervals sit in the statistics next to screen time.

What pomodoro records

Completed intervals are counted on your device. Nothing about what you worked on is sent anywhere.

Questions

About Pomodoro

Is the pomodoro timer free?

Yes, including blocking during the work interval and custom lengths.

Can I change 25/5?

Yes. The work interval, the break and the long break are all yours to set.

What happens if I close the tab?

The cycle is kept by the extension, not by the page, so it survives closing tabs and restarting the browser.

How is it different from Focus mode?

The work interval is a focus session. Pomodoro adds the rhythm on top: breaks, the long break after four, and the switching between them.

Pomodoro is one of twelve

It comes with blocking, screen time, dark mode, breathing and eye care — free.
