Chrome extension · twelve modes
Your screen time,
counted on your side.
Block what pulls you away, focus with sound, rest your eyes, and see exactly where the hours went — without a single one of them leaving your computer.
This site is blocked
You asked to keep this one closed until 18:00.
Focus session
Distracting sites stay shut while the timer runs.
Counted on your device
Nothing about this visit left your browser.
Time to wind down
Breathe with the circle until the screen lets go.
Rain over the page
Ambient sound, nothing blocked.
Look 20 feet away
Twenty seconds. Your eyes have been at this screen for two hours.
Three things today
Written this morning, still waiting.
Today you are the Learner
Every tab is a vote for who you are becoming.
Dark, without the mess
Images keep their colours. Already-dark sites are left alone.
25 on, 5 off
The rhythm runs itself; you stop watching the clock.
Warm after sunset
The page warms up in the evening instead of glowing at you.
Two minutes
In, hold, out — follow the circle and go back to work.
click any mode — this is the real interface, not a screenshot
Nothing. And you can check that right now.
Open DevTools on this page and look at the Network tab. We have not sent a single request about your visit — because there is nothing on our side to send.
What each extension declared about your data
This is not our opinion. It is the “Privacy practices” section of each Chrome Web Store listing, where the developer declares what they collect. Checked on 20 August 2026.
Taken from the “Privacy practices” section of each Chrome Web Store listing and from the developers’ own privacy policies, as of 20 August 2026. A Store declaration is a statement by the developer, not the result of an audit by Google. Wording may have changed after that date.
One extension instead of nine
Every mode works on its own and every mode is in the free plan. Nothing here is a trial that expires.

Open Tasks freeDark Mode
Dark theme on any site. Images keep their colours.
Open Dark Mode freeNight Light

Nine rhythms — box breathing, 4-7-8, coherent. Two minutes and back to the tab.
Open Breathing freePomodoro
25 minutes of work, five off — and the distracting sites stay shut while it runs.
Open Pomodoro freeBlock Sites
Every site at once or a list of ten, on a schedule or around the clock, with a password.
Open Block Sites freeTrack Sites
Where the hours actually went — computed on your device.
Open Track SitesPaying for these separately costs about $45 a month
People rarely buy all of them at once — but each of these is what you reach for when one of the twelve things is missing. Prices below are the ones published on their own sites.
≈ $44 $5.75 a month, billed yearly
That is roughly $459 a year saved against buying the paid ones separately — and three of the twelve have no browser equivalent at all: the bedtime wind-down, the habit system and breathing exercises all live in phone apps.
Prices taken from each company’s own pricing page on 20 August 2026 and shown as published: Freedom and Brain.fm monthly, RescueTime Solo monthly, Noisli Pro billed yearly in euros. Companies change prices; check theirs before deciding. Dark Reader is free and funded by donations — we are not claiming to replace paying for it, only to save you the extra extension.

The ones people actually ask
Still unsure about something? Write to us — a person answers.
Do you see which sites I visit?
No. Your browsing statistics are written to storage inside your own browser and stay there. The extension works with no account at all, and in that state it makes no requests to our servers — you can verify this yourself in the Network tab of DevTools. We record the domain and the number of minutes, never the address of an individual page and never its contents.
Is the free plan crippled?
No. All twelve modes are free, blocking works on every site at once with password protection, tasks are unlimited, and your whole history is available forever. Pro adds more music genres, more sounds, advanced eye exercises, custom Shift archetypes, dark mode scheduling and optional sync.
How is this different from BlockSite or StayFocusd?
Two things. First, what the free plan covers: blocking works on every site at once, not on a capped list. Second, and more important, what leaves your computer. In their own Chrome Web Store listings, those extensions declare collection of web history — and in one case also user activity including keystroke logging and website content. We declare no web history collection, because there is none.
What if PRO is not for me?
Write to us within 14 days and we refund in full, no questions asked. There is no trial period because the free plan is not a demo — it already includes all twelve modes, blocking on every site and your entire history. PRO adds the extras on top, and if those extras turn out not to be worth it to you, you get your money back.
Can I get my data out?
Yes, at any moment, into a file — no subscription required. It is your history; charging you to look at your own past is exactly the practice we built this against.
Does blocking actually hold, or can I click it away?
You can set a password, and then weakening a rule requires it. The block overlay is also protected against pages that try to hide it with their own styles — a site cannot simply make the overlay transparent to get itself unblocked.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Blocking, tracking, tasks, dark mode and eye exercises all run locally. Only the music and ambient sound libraries need a connection.
Stop losing time you didn’t mean to spend
